Honestly, what I find most helpful about talking things through with Lisa is that she is both encouraging and grounding at the same time which is actually quite rare.
Lisa is a really good listener first of all. She let me properly talk things out without jumping in too quickly, which makes it easier to untangle what I’m actually thinking and feeling.
Lisa is positive and supportive, and doesn't let me get carried away by “rose coloured glasses” thinking. What I really value is that Lisa helps me step back and look at things realistically and objectively.
Lisa asks the right questions like “have you thought about this part?” or “what would that actually look like day to day?” which helps me make informed decisions based on facts, not just emotion or fantasy especially when I’m unhappy in a role and desperate for change.
Lisa is also a huge cheerleader. She is very good at helping me see my strengths and potential, and amazing at helping me articulate my thoughts, ideas and feelings into something clearer and more confident.
